Oct 23, 2018 · I have no goop coming through the pump, just clear fluid, as mentioned in the test run yesterday with the pressure line removed from the pump while it runs. Mine is a low hour tractor with a loader and backhoe, looks excellent, so running it has a good value. From a guy who has actually done this on a 1030, he says it's all about cleaning.

Sep 08, 2008 · I have a Thomas skid steer and it specifies 10-30 oil for the hydraulics. One of the reasons for 10-30 is so you can use a common oil for everything. My machine specifies 10-30 for hyd., chain case and engine, although I run 15-40 in the engine. I have run 10-30 diesel oil in the winter for a little easier starting.

Sep 17, 2014 · Leaking down is like the valve. Only way for the piston seals or cylinder to cause this is if there is an external leak somewhere also. Try parking in the garage or something and raise the loader about a foot off the ground and curl back. Unhook the quick disconnects going to the loader. See if it drops over a period of time.
